This rather charming Victorian basket of strawberries is just too sweet, isn’t it?
Likely from the middle to late 1800’s, this little piece was stitched with wool threads on a canvas fabric. There is no signature or date to be found, so we’ll never know the exact provenance of this treasure. I hope that by reproducing it into cross stitch form, this little “Panier de Fraises” will be enjoyed again and again.
