Nurge Snap Frames & Extension Rods

The Nurge range of ‘Snap Frames’ are ideal for Embroidery, Cross-Stitch, Tapestry, Punch-Needle and Needlepoint projects. These frames are strong and durable – yet very lightweight, easy to assemble – and disassemble for compact storage. 

Each frame consists of 4 pieces of durable plastic PVC pipe approximately 20mm in diameter which simply slot into each other to make a frame. The colourful clips can then be removed to place your fabric over the frame and then ‘Snap’ the clips back on the frame to trap your fabric. Give each clip an outward twist on the pipe until you have the optimum taut tension on the fabric to enable you to start your next masterpiece!

Sizes of frame are:

• Square 21cm x 21cm (approx. 8” x 8”)
• Rectangle 21cm x 29cm (approx. 8” x 11.5”)
• Square 29cm x 29cm (approx. 11.5” x 11.5”)
• Extension rods x4 18cm 

Depending on where you add the 4 extension rods, you can create 4 different size frames from the initial starting size. 

• Extension Rods added to the 21cm x 21cm Frame will also make frame sizes: 21 x 39 cm (8” x 15”) * 39 x 39cm (15” x 15”) * 30 x 49cm (12” x 19”)
• Extension Rods added to the 21cm x 29cm Frame will also make frame sizes: 29 x 57cm (11.5” x 22”) * 39 x 47cm (15” x 18”) * 21 x 47cm (8” x 18”)
• Extension Rods added to the 29cm x 29cm Frame will also make frame sizes: 29 x 47cm (11.5” x 18.5”) * 47 x 47cm (18.5” x 18.5”) * 29 x 65cm (11” x 25”)
