This design was inspired by the idea of a woven crown of daisies. It's a fairly quick stitch, and I've combined many different types of flower designs (because there are so many wonderful varieties of daisies) into an abundance of floral fun. Daisy Crown is a cheerful choice for stitchers looking for biscornu cross stitch patterns with soft floral details and spring-inspired charm.
Stitch count for the top and the base is 122 x 122 each. The model is stitched on 40 count "Dove" linen from Weeks Dye Works. This is a lovely blue/green fabric that sets off the white flowers and the closest DMC equivalent is 523/524.
For finishing I found a button at a local fabric store, but it had a rhinestone in the middle which didn't quite go. So I popped out the rhinestone and glued in a little cluster of yellow seed beads instead for the "daisy" effect.
