Introducing a new monthly series from Cottage Garden Samplings! We're returning to the woods with 12 new designs, released monthly from June 2025-May 2026.

Purchase this product to join the Talking Dog Stitchery Autoship and receive each pattern as it is released. You may join autoship at any time throughout the year, but I recommend signing up by 31st May to receive your first chart ASAP. 


About the series:

Each individual woodland creature has a stitch count of 110w x 130h (in keeping with the original Year in the Woods series). 

If you stitch the entire series together in the recommended layout, the total stitch count will be 310 wide x 535 high.

Cottage Garden Samplings designs are usually stitched in DMC, with 1-2 overdyed threads in each design. I will be ordering plenty of each of the called-for colours as they are revealed, so be sure to head to the Threads section to stock up.

The called-for fabric is 40-count Legacy by Picture this Plus, which is a medium beige neutral fabric. I do not carry Picture This Plus, but there will be plenty of suitable alternatives you could use.


Please note:
  • This is a subscription, you will be charged each month for delivery of the chart the following month i.e. you will be charged in May for June's release, in June for July's release etc.
  • Your subscription will renew on the same day each month, if you sign up on the 23rd May, your next payment will be taken on 23rd June and so on. You will receive email reminders of upcoming payments.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time. 
  • If you sign up after charts have already started to be sent (ie. after 1st June) I will reach out to you to ask whether you would like to:
    • Start the series from the beginning, receiving each chart on a delay.
    • Catch up with your missed charts with a one-off payment and then receive each remaining chart as it's released.
    • Start the series in the current month, with no wish to catch up on any missed charts.
  • If you prefer to skip a chart, you may skip a payment before it is made from your customer account. Please be mindful that I will be ordering charts on the basis of number of subscribers, so please keep chart skips to a minimum and consider cancelling your subscription and ordering individual charts as they are released instead. If you skip 3 or more months, your subscription will be cancelled.
